We're playing the MEANY Fest on October 9th at The National Underground. Afterwards, we'll be embarking upon a short east coast tour with stops in Boston, Providence, and Portland, ME.

Just found out that we got selected to play the MEANY (Music and Emerging Artists Festival NY) this October. We don't know the exact date or venue yet, but it will be in NYC between Oct. 8th and 18th.

So,

I know I've been threatening this for the past few weeks, but we've finally finished up our first 5-song EP (we're mulling over a few titles). Thanks to Ryan Foster at FREQ Mastering for turning it around so quickly. We're really happy with how it came out, and I just set up a store on myspace (www.myspace.com/seanwagner) so that you can get the tracks before the official release. Brad and I spent a lot of time in the studio over the past few months working to get the sound we wanted, and, suffice it to say, it feels good to finally have it done:)

We just started getting played on internet radio at pongid.net. Take a moment and vote for us as favorite artist for February.

Lots has been happening since the last time I updated this. Josh Baruch (drums) and Brad Wager (bass) have joined me in rounding out the full-band lineup, which is going to really add to the overall sound and direction of the songs. We'll be recording a 3 or 5 song demo in the next month or so, with a goal to record a full-length album by the middle of next year. Check-in for updates on recording/new shows...

This show promises to be a great one at one of the best venues in Portland. I'll be going on at 9:00 and will be playing 2 sets, including a lot of new songs that I've been working on for awhile now. This will definitely be the best show of your life; if you miss it, your friends will all laugh at you, and you'll experience feelings of regret and self-hate for many years to come. In short, come to this show for the sake of your own well-being.

Come see me play a set at the NW Radio Songwriter showcase on Tuesday, May 30th at the Green Room. Great venue, and I'm playing a full set at 9:30 and introducing some new songs, so don't miss it.

After a final mixing session with Brad at The Vault recording studio in Portland, the 5-song EP (as yet unnamed) is finally done. I might add drums and bass in the next few weeks, but have a listen on the Music page and see what you think.
